چکیده
Aim: To find out the effect of monomer application for different time periods on tensile bond strength heat cured denture base resin and acrylic teeth. Methodology: Ninety specimens were fabricated as per ADA standards No 15 divided into 3 groups through purposive sampling technique. In Group 1 was applied teeth just before material packed. 2 10 seconds in 60 seconds. Universal testing machine load between Visual observation done to detect types failure. Result: showed highest value followed by however there no statistically significant (p>0.05) difference groups. Practical implication: Monomer enhances but period its which could provide maximum benefit is not very clear. Therefore this study carried so that most effective can be figured out. Conclusion: Bond affected periods. Keywords: Monomer, Time period, Denture resin, Acrylic

متن کاملBonding of Acrylic Resin Teeth with Denture Base Resin
The debonding of acrylic resin teeth with the denture base resin has been related to several different factors of which contamination of the bonding surfaces with wax has been suggested as the major cause. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficient method of wax removal from denture teeth using hot water at different temperatures ranges. Acrylic rods were used as tooth analogues a...
متن کاملA Comparison of Shear Bond Strength of Ceramic and Resin Denture Teeth on Different Acrylic Resin Bases
The purpose of this study is to compare the shear bond strength of different resin bases and artificial teeth made of ceramic or acrylic resin materials and whether tooth-base interface may be treated with aluminium oxide sandblasting. Experimental measurements were carried on 80 specimens consisting of a cylinder of acrylic resin into which a single tooth is inserted. An ad hoc metallic frame ...
متن کاملEffect of Thermocycling and Polyethylene Fibre Addition on Impact and Transversal Strength of Heat Cured Acrylic Resin Denture Base Material
Background: Heat cured acrylic resin is the most widely used material in the manufacture ofdenture base, but has mechanical properties weakness (transversal strength and impact strength). Alternative to increase the mechanical properties of acrylic resin is the utilization of reinforcing fibre that is polyethylene fibre that has advantage such as good aesthetic, easy to manipulate and increase ...
متن کاملEffect of Mechanical Modification of Acrylic Resin Denture Teeth Bonded to Acrylic Denture Base
Techniques for bonding denture teeth to acrylic resin denture base remains empirical, with little consensus from the literature, among clinicians or among dental laboratories. Despite of this great variation, the data available regarding effectiveness of various methods used are sparse. The study was carried out to compare the effect of different surface treatments of ridge lap area of acrylic ...
